Wow...

I can't believe that this blog still exists.

 I had quite forgotten about it.

 I still live in my snug little house. I still enjoy the change of seasons and watching my daughter grow. But things have changed so much in the 10 years since I've posted on this blog.

 The Peanut is now nearly 16. She's the one that discovered my words still bobbing around out here. She came across them just the other day because she had an interest in starting her own blog.

 I'm now a widow. I have been for three and a half years. For whatever reason, God decided that I was done being a wife. It's been very hard. So much of what I've been proud to accomplish in my adult life has centered around my role as wife and mother. I still struggle daily with finding a purpose.

Perhaps I'll start writing more.

Maybe it would be good for me...
